	GS-2000 Electrode Gap Setting Device The Touch/Retract Gap Setter torch positioner motions the torch electrode to touch the part to be welded and then retracts to an exact arc gap distance programmable in thousandths of an inch prior to each weld cycle. 	Magnetic Arc Controllers (MAC) Magnetic Arc Controllers (MAC) provide the ability to stabilize the arc by clamping probes around a TIG or plasma welding torch and holding the arc in position using a magnetic field. This improves weld quality and many times provides increased weld speeds due to the enhanced arc stability.
