Micro-TIG/Plasma Power Supplies
Pro-Fusion offers power supplies and control systems for Micro Arc Welding. Our dual process capability Dual Arc 80 (MicroTIG and Micro Plasma) system offers the ability to start a low amperage arc (0.1 amp) and provide consistent results across a wide range of weld currents. When necessary, the Dual Arc 80 system can also make short duration spot welds (0.01 seconds). This technology has provided users with a unique alternative to unreliable or labor-intensive processes such as soldering, brazing, and resistance welding. Lathe Welding Systems
Pro-Fusion Precision Welding Lathes provide all of the features necessary to position and rotate parts for circumferential welding. The extreme accuracy of part rotation in conjunction with the air-actuated torch advance/retract feature and part holding via air tailstock provide all the requirements for precision joining using the Tig, Plasma, or Laser welding processes. Orbital Welding Equipment and Accessories
In the orbital welding process, tubes or pipes are clamped in place and an orbital weldhead rotates an electrode around the weld joint to create the desired weld. Orbital welding is used in applications where the tube or pipe can not be rotated or where there are space limitations. Tungsten Electrode Products
One of the easiest ways to improve weld quality and consistency is to improve the tungsten electrode material and preparation. Parts have accumulated so much value by the time they reach the welding station that it makes no sense to overlook proper electrode selection and preparation as a critical process variable. Pro-Fusion offers Pre-Ground Welding Electrodes, Tungsten Electrode Grinders, and different tungsten materials to satisfy this need, as well as consultation and information on how different electrode geometries effect the weld profile.
