The MICRO ARC DC 170.5 HF takes an arc start at just 0.5 amps and pairs it up with a state of the art digital control panel that offers upslope, welding time, downslope, post-flow and weld program storage. Built in pulse control provides heat control when you need it. This machine features FAN ON DEMAND, turning on only when necessary when welding at low amperage, reducing ambient noise and saving energy. Unique Pulse of Reverse Polarity at the end of the weld cycle helps keep tungsten clean, providing longer tungsten life. A robotic connection allows pairing with motion devices such as Pro-Fusion’s Precision Welding Lathe or Precision Welding Positioner.
